Guess when a series of photos were taken

Chronophoto is a free trivia game where players will be shown a number of photos and determine what year they were taken. This history game features images from the 1900s to 2022, so there is a wide range of possible photos you can come across.

In order to play Chronophoto, you will have to move a slider around to find the possible year the image could be taken in. Don’t worry about not getting the exact answer, though, since you can still earn points based on how close you were to the actual year.

Memories from the past century

Chronophoto offers users a unique sort of gaming experience like no other. History buffs and photo enthusiasts alike can find great fun in this educational game. As previously mentioned, you’ll be shown five photos from different points in time. The main goal is to get as close as you can to the year these images were taken and gather enough accumulated points.

All of the images are shown in high resolution so that you can get a better look at all the minor details hidden in plain sight. You can also zoom into the photos to get a closer look. Some of these images will be shown in grayscale, while others will show a full-color spectrum. Don’t be fooled though; some of the greyscale images can be from more recent years, too.

The mechanics of this game are pretty simple: just slide the bar under the photo to the designated year that you’ve guessed. After submitting your answer, you can view how close or far away your answer is from the correct one. Keep in mind, though, that some ads can obstruct the two ends of the slider, so it’s best to open up the game in full-screen mode.

Entertaining and educational

Chronophoto acts as a great tool for users to learn what life was like in the past and what events could have occurred within a specific year, all in an interesting and entertaining way. Although some ads can get in the way of gameplay, you can still marvel at all the little details in each photo with no trouble with the stunning photos shown in full quality.

Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
